About me

About me

I’m a UX designer with a background in biomedical science, originally from the Rio Grande Valley and recently relocated to Austin.

Growing up Mexican American in South Texas taught me the value of community, resilience, and perspective—qualities that continue to shape how I approach design. My foundation in science sharpened my skills in research, analysis, and problem-solving, which I now apply to creating intuitive, human-centered digital experiences.

Transitioning to UX

I was driven by a desire to combine analytical thinking with creative impact. I’m passionate about inclusive design, thoughtful systems, and using technology to empower people—especially those whose needs are often overlooked. Whether I’m conducting user research or building out design flows, I bring curiosity, empathy, and clarity to every stage of the process.

beyond the design space

In my free time, you’ll usually find me hiking around Central Texas, reading something new, or on a soccer field—or couch—watching a match. These interests help me recharge, stay curious, and keep a balanced perspective both in and out of work.

Why i design

Why i design

As a designer, I care deeply about creating experiences that are both functional and meaningful. I’m excited to keep growing in this field, collaborating with others who care about equity and usability, and finding new ways to bring thoughtful design into everyday life.
